Jake Schindler Climbs to 8th Place in GPI Ranking

The US professional poker player Jake Schindler has reached to the eight position of the Global Poker Index ranking. The ranking saw some reshuffle at the time of its latest update, with some players going up in the top 10 places.

Schindler, who has climbed as high as the seventh position in the Global Poker Index ranking so far, has all-time winnings estimated to $8,100,204. His live best cash amounted to $1,192,624.

Over 2016, the young American has participated in a great number of poker tournaments, with a few fantastic results making him one of the most successful poker players in the year. The last tournament he took part in was the World Poker Tour (WPT) Five Diamond World Poker Classic. Schindler entered in two events, including the $1,600 Buy-In No Limit Hold’em #7 Six Max in which he ranked ninth, and the $10,400 Buy-In No Limit Hold’em #17 Five Diamond Main Event in which he occupied the third position and took home a prize of $736,579.

Jake Schindler has also taken part in a number of Aria High Roller and Super High Roller events so far in 2016. He won the Aria High Roller 41 and 42 events that took place at the Aria Resort & Casino in September and October, winning guaranteed prize pool prize portions of $249,070 and $306,687, respectively. Earlier this year, over the spring and the summer, the player has also participated in a number of Aria High Roller events.

At the beginning of September, the US player entered the World Series of Poker Circuit in Nevada and ranked sixth, and then took part in the Deepstack Extravaganza 3.5, ranking 10th. In August, Schindler entered in the $160 Buy-In No Limit Hold’em Mega Millions XV event of the WPT – Legends of Poker.

In June and July 2016 the young poker pro participated in the 47th edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio Hotel and Casino. His entire winnings generated over the six 2016 WSOP he took part in amount to $69,823. Of course, Schindler also played at another large event in the year 2016 – the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown. He also participated in the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star in March.
